Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Construction Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in Data Center or similar mission critical facility design and construction environments.
- Experience managing changing industrial construction projects.
- Experience with large building facilities equipment and environments including switchgear, generators, chillers, Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC), Security and fire safety systems.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working with Data Center building operational equipment in large environments including switchgear, generators, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, controls, security monitoring systems, fire safety systems.
- Experience managing partner team relationships.
- Knowledge of fast track design build processes, documentation, contract performance, and earned value management reporting.
- Knowledge of startup and commissioning processes for high and medium voltage electrical equipment.
- Understanding of detailed, multi-level start up and commissioning processes and standard practices in the design and construction industry.
- Ability to communicate in Danish fluently to support client relationship management in this region and beneficial to understand Danish legislation.

In this role, as a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will lead multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You will plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're responsible for explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers. Additionally, with your technical and leadership expertise, you will manage projects of various size and scope, identifying future opportunities, improving processes and driving the technical directions of your programs.
Responsibilities
- Manage a large, site-wide data center construction and delivery organisation, managing scopes related to construction projects or capital improvement projects.
- Oversee the development of detailed designs, managing construction (delivery, cost, quality, Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS), commissioning, close-out and hand-off to the operations team. Ensure all customer requirements are being met.
- Establish and maintain various delivery models and global relationships with multiple vendors.
- Create a growth plan and be involved in hiring/recruiting talent in the areas of project management, field engineering, document control, technical writing, etc.
- Research and implement construction means and methods of data center equipment and facilities. Carry design concepts into mass production and integrate into facilities.
