Risk Strategy Head, gTech Risk and Compliance

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 15 years of leadership experience in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and risk strategy.
  • Experience leading the design and implementation of a scaled, global ERM program, including developing formal risk frameworks and appetite statements.
  • Experience in risk analytics and data visualization, using data (e.g., SQL, Python, R, or visualization tools) to drive narratives and executive reporting.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA, Master's, or advanced degree in a quantitative or business-oriented field.
  • Experience partnering with and influencing executive (VP+) cross-functional stakeholders in a global environment.
  • Experience in analytics, statistics, and metric design, with the ability to apply deep business context to identify strategic insights.
  • Ability to translate complex data into a clear, compelling narrative for executive audiences.
  • Ability to develop solutions to complex problems and lead through influence in ambiguous settings.
  • Excellent program management, verbal and written communication skills.

This role serves as the strategic core, setting direction and providing forward-looking intelligence.

As the Lead of gTech Risk Strategy, you will be responsible for architecting and leading the strategic direction for risk management across gTech. This role sits at the intersection of enterprise risk strategy, data analytics, and executive communication, requiring a visionary, action-oriented, and operationally sound leader.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $218,000-$306,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the Risk Strategy team, advocating the goal for integrated risk management and defining the risk posture narrative for executive leadership.
  • Architect and oversee gTech’s risk appetite and the core risk methodologies that underpin the organization.
  • Own executive risk engagement forums, ensuring decision-oriented discussions and leading the analysis of emerging, long-term strategic risks.
  • Drive the execution of the gTech Risk intelligence strategy, ensuring dashboards and analytics provide predictive, data-driven insights for leadership decision-making.
  • Build and maintain critical relationships across Legal, Engineering, Product, and Security to achieve shared objectives and drive risk-informed strategic outcomes.
