Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in a partner-facing role within the music industry (e.g., label relations, artist management, or partner management), including experience managing and developing teams.
  • Experience in music negotiations, resolving business issues, and managing relationships with artists and their creative teams.
  • Experience with the digital music landscape, including streaming platforms and the YouTube ecosystem, and navigating market trends.
  • Ability to communicate in Portuguese and English fluently to interact with local and regional stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience operating within a multinational structure, comfortably managing stakeholders across time zones and cultural nuances.
  • Experience overseeing high-profile music events and artist-led activations designed to drive brand engagement.
  • Experience with partner satisfaction and fostering relationships within the local and international music community.
  • Ability to identify new partnership opportunities and scale existing accounts through strategic consultations.
  • Excellent investigative thinking skills with the ability to translate data and market intelligence into long-term growth strategies for partners.

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.

You will be responsible for guiding the Brazilian music team’s success by orchestrating partner consultations, business reviews, and strategic negotiations. In this role, you will bridge the gap between local market intelligence and global cross-functional teams, ensuring that Brazilian artists and labels are positioned for maximum growth. From managing senior-level relationships to leading complex content-licensing deals and process optimizations, you will act as a representative of the organization, manage innovation, and resolve challenges across the Brazilian music sector.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Brazil music team to success, acting as the primary senior representative and market expert for the organization within the local industry.
  • Cultivate a high-impact partner portfolio, driving strategic consultations, comprehensive business reviews, and the negotiation of complex content-licensing and distribution agreements.
  • Monitor the local release landscape and vertical trends to provide executive-level insights, ensuring alignment between Brazilian market nuances and global strategy.
  • Serve as the internal advocate for the Brazilian ecosystem, ensuring local partner needs and market challenges shape global product development and policy decisions.
  • Orchestrate cross-functional marketing and business processes, proactively resolving strategic bottlenecks and managing partner participation in premier industry events to strengthen relationships with the creative community.
