The Storage Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team runs and defends the durability, integrity, and efficiency of Google's storage fleet.
As the Technical Program Manager, you will work with the various Storage teams to help them plan and achieve their goals by setting up simple processes. You will also be engaged in driving programs to onboard new services, as well as improve the reliability of the existing services by working with the leadership of these services.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Support the Storage SRE programs and initiatives.
- Manage cross-functional programs across Storage teams by partnering with Site Reliability Engineers, Software Engineers, Engineering Managers, and Technical Program Managers.
- Promote project management best practices. Collaborate with SRE leadership to determine program direction-including scope definition, requirements gathering, planning, and execution of programs.
- Work with cross-functional partners and customers to deliver critical programs and initiatives which are sustainable and scalable across the broader Storage organization.
- Help drive and accelerate program delivery.
