Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in advertising, marketing technology, management consulting, or product management.
  • 5 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA degree or graduate degree.
  • 4 years of experience managing individuals and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-solving skills, with experience building persuasive/data-driven business cases.
  • Proven ability to influence counterparts in Sales, Product, Marketing and Operations.
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to influence senior stakeholders (e.g. Director+) and build relationships with cross-functional partners.

About the job

The Go-to-Market Operations is a global team that serves as the strategy, operations, and product commercialization partner to Global Business Organization. The team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business delivers strategic growth and operates effectively.

This team is responsible for setting Go-to-Market strategy, shaping priorities and resources to accelerate business growth, and commercializing the next generation of Ads products (from representing the voice of the customer to advocating for product requirements to ensuring teams are equipped to drive customer growth, product adoption, and revenue health at scale). This team plays an important role in building Go-to-Market infrastructure from tooling to ensuring flawless execution and operations against desired business outcomes and priorities.

In this role, you will be responsible for packaging products into customer solutions, identifying advertiser needs to drive innovative offerings with Product Management and Engineering, collecting competitive intelligence, forming market perspectives, building global strategy, and engaging with regional sales teams across channels.

You will advocate the voice of the customer—bringing Product to Market and Market to Product—by defining and driving the global commercialization and product strategy to accelerate revenue, adoption, and sustained market leadership for Retail YouTube and Retail Media Networks. This role demands exceptional strategic and analytical acumen to translate complex customer needs, competitive intelligence, and evolving market dynamics into innovative product solutions, impactful Go-to-Market plans, and a prioritized global roadmap. You will lead multiple high-performing global teams to execute these strategies, fostering a data-driven culture and expertly influencing cross-functional partners—including Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and gTech—to ensure Google’s offerings define the competitive landscape and deliver customer and business growth

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $227,000-$320,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute annual commercialization strategy and business plans to drive revenue, annual growth, and product adoption.
  • Lead team of global product experts in Retail YouTube and Retail Media Networks as well as broader Google-wide efforts to support vertical solutions, automation, and industry imperatives. 
  • Work with and lead sales teams and specialists to drive sales activation and prioritization of display in the context of a larger global business organization.
  • Prioritize new product features and improvements to existing products that represent sales requests and market innovation in the competitive display landscape. Influence roadmap and delivery with product and engineering teams.
  • Lead cross-functional partners in Marketing, gTech, and sales finance to align and execute shared vision for success in Google Search. Be the visible leader with internal sales, external customer, and partner stakeholders.
