Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in a technical project management or a customer-facing role.
- 4 years of experience with forensic data analysis and auditing at either a professional services firm or in-house at a public corporation applying forensic methodology within the context of compliance.
- Experience in formal risk management.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or Applied Science, or a related field.
- 8 years of experience managing projects and working with analytics, software coding, or customer-side web technologies.
- Experience in accounting assessments, business agreements including multiple performance obligations, multi-year agreements and relative selling price allocation.
About the job
As a Payment Assurance Specialist, you are the engagement manager taking responsibility for YouTube’s audit processes and execution. You drive our cross-functional effort to audit operations and deliver experience to our partners conducting the audit. You will lead cross-functional teams from Engineering, Partnerships, and Legal to enable audit execution: define scope of the audit, explain how YouTube business processes and systems work, gather data requests, follow-up on additional questions, validate findings, and perform data analysis to understand global impact. Work as part of a team to identify, design, develop, and document controls, systems, and analytics that will support audit testing, continuous auditing, continuous monitoring, automation, and quality assessment systems of payment flows.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $137,000-$200,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Assess existing payment processes to identify payment auditability and contractual audit requirements.
- Pull data and perform analysis from various systems to address and satisfy data requests.
- Lead cross-functional meeting to ensure that the scope of audit and data align with internal policy and procedures.
- Coordinate efforts, technical ownership, and functional ownership of external audit requests.
- Make recommendations on how to improve internal controls and governance processes.
