Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.
  • Experience in system design or reading code (e.g., Java, C++, Python).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or Applied Science, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience with data analysis and SQL/MySQL.
  • 5 years of experience in internet products and technologies, with excellent business communication skills.
  • Knowledge of publishers, advertising markets or online ads landscape.
  • Ability to pick up technical concepts quickly and learn when it is appropriate to apply them and aptitude for technical design.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams and stakeholders, and excellent relationship building, collaboration, negotiation and influence skills.

Technical Solution Consultants cultivate relationships with Google’s most strategic advertisers, agencies, and partners while also working cross-functionally within Google, partnering closely with Sales, Go-To-Market, Product and Engineering teams to develop advanced solutions, tools and improve our products based on the evolving needs of users. The gTech Ads Solutions Engineering team provides specialized technical implementation support for emerging products. Our team consists of problem-solving minds who enjoy solving complex strategic, operational and technical challenges for the world's largest advertisers using SA360/DV360, Measurement or Shopping products.

As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for building an understanding of Google Ads products and leveraging these products to achieve customer goals. You will also build processes, systems, tools and documentation so these products can be serviced.

In this role, you will work closely with Partner Sales teams to monitor our products performance for GCS clients, develop tools that address their technological and business needs, and identify opportunities to grow GCS business. You will continuously look for opportunities to improve processes through workflow optimization and automation to increase efficiency and productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure high product adoption and usage, be the primary day-to-day technical contact for our clients, providing prompt, professional consultative support and service to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal and external technical teams to guide communication, prioritization, implementation, analysis, and resolution of customer challenges and issues. Participate in the analysis and research for complex technical challenges and work with Product Escalation teams.
  • Advocate new product features and assist clients in the adoption of new products via upgrades and migrations to help them build long-term success. Provide documentation and technical guidance to ensure the technical success of clients integrations.
  • Guide the technical aspects of advertiser and publisher integrations by providing necessary documentation and guidance.
  • Review current processes and design/develop tools, processes, workflows to increase team productivity/efficiency.
