As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
As a highly motivated Technical Program Manager you will have demonstrated experience with Front End Planning, in the area of complex, multi-disciplinary, and geographically dispersed data center campus plans, site/civil designs and ground up construction planning for projects across Americas. You will provide project management of large-scale data center campus plans, utility and site/civil projects at multiple scales. This role manages complex schedules, budgets, and broad inter- dependencies. You will have extensive experience managing large scale technical projects in a rapidly changing industry, be able to tolerate ambiguity, and demonstrate problem solving leadership and influencing skills with limited oversight.
You will need to develop test fits and campus planning using CAD and BIM modeling, leveraging drone deploy and other new technologies to perform cut-in analysis for new DC products/configs for achieving optimal layouts to enable fastest earthworks construction and site prep/prepositioning.
