  • 8 years of experience using analytics to solve product or business problems, performing statistical analysis, and coding (e.g., Python, R, SQL) or 5 years of experience with a Master's degree.

At Play Dynamic Sears Ads (DSA), we work on a variety of challenging data science projects to drive product and go-to-market decisions for Play. Our goal is to Power Play’s growth by building an in-depth understanding of our users and developers, enabling data-driven decision making, through strategic insights, thought leadership, and unified data foundations.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Perform analysis utilizing relevant tools (e.g., SQL, R, Python). Help solve problems, narrow down multiple options into the best approach, and take ownership of open-ended ambiguous business problems to reach an optimal solution.
  • Partner with Games Data Science and Product Strategy team members, Play Games Product Management, Engineering, PMM, UX and other teams to understand user behavior, and design/analyze experiments and drive product insights to improve user experiences.
  • Work across Cross-platform Games, Developer Success, and Games Ecosystem to further our understanding of the Games business and the Loyalty Program at Play.
  • Build and prototype analysis and business cases iteratively to provide insights at scale. Develop comprehensive knowledge of Google data structures and metrics, advocating for changes where needed for product development.
  • Influence across teams to align resources and direction.
