Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program management.
- Experience building, automating, and developing distributed systems.
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience in optimizing project scope, cost, time, and quality to achieve program objectives.
- Experience with operating systems, distributed systems, platform development, cloud computing, Kubernetes, containers, and virtualization.
- Experience in the software development life-cycle, including analysis and design, development tools and technologies, release and version control, contemporary testing methodologies and deployment management.
- Experience in communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

As a Technical Program Manager for MSCA, you will drive complex technical projects across products, compute infrastructure, and capacity delivery process and tooling. You will be involved in programs to optimize use of infrastructure resources and build solutions that increase efficiency and maximize salable capacity. You will unleash your significant talents in program management, mobilizing cross-functional teams, delivering solutions for scale, and making data-driven decisions to refine and launch solutions that accelerate our customers’ success.
The ML, Systems, & Cloud AI (MSCA) organization at Google designs, implements, and manages the hardware, software, machine learning, and systems infrastructure for all Google services (Search, YouTube, etc.) and Google Cloud. Our end users are Googlers, Cloud customers and the billions of people who use Google services around the world.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Provide project management, cross-functional coordination, and team communications to deliver program outcomes.
- Work with Software Engineers, Quality Assurance, Product Managers, and other engineering and business teams to get quality products and features through the software project life-cycle (e.g., build, test and release on time).
- Manage project schedules, identify possible issues and communicate to technical infrastructure stakeholders.
- Engage with engineering directors, product leaders and other Technical Program Manager groups, to streamline processes, simplify execution, manage OKRs, release on time, bring tooling for efficiencies and help the teams you are engaged with in execution.
- Develop and prepare project documentation, process maps, presentations and tracking reports to provide detailed current status of each project.
