Senior Security Consultant, Threat Intelligence (English, Portuguese)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in a customer-facing investigative role in cyber security (e.g., network forensics analyst, threat intelligence analyst).
  • Experience with project management.
  • Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Portuguese fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in evaluating host and network forensic reports of electronic media, packet capture, log data analysis, malware triage and network devices in support of intrusion analysis or enterprise level information security operations.
  • Experience utilizing open source tools for analysis.
  • Experience in working with threat modeling systems.
  • Knowledge of security solutions and technologies, including: Linux, network architecture/implementation/configuration.
  • Knowledge of adversarial cyber actors, to include tactics, techniques, and procedures.

In this role, you will support Mandiant’s Advanced Intelligence Access (AIA) program. The AIA program enables customers, via an onsite cyber analyst, access to the totality of Mandiant’s threat intelligence, including raw data. You will ensure the delivery of actionable intelligence to each customer’s security or operational environments in order to drive decision-making and action. You will also acts as a conduit to Mandiant’s extensive network of cyber security, threat intelligence, and information operations professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customers to understand their Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) needs and identify opportunities to maximize the impact of CTI within their operations.
  • Oversee the delivery, organization, and sharing of Mandiant threat intelligence products to the customer.
  • Communicate complex technical findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, verbally and in writing.
  • Produce tailored intelligence reports that meet the specific needs of the customer's intelligence analysts and leadership.
  • Generate CTI, and perform analysis of customer data, taking their bespoke sources to identify threat activity, or to build and automate workflows.
