Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math or related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience in software development.
- 6 years of experience in full-stack software development and system design.
- Experience with front end languages (e.g. JavaScript or TypeScript).
- Experience with backend languages (e.g. Java, Python, or C++).
- Experience working with database technologies (e.g. SQL, NoSQL).
Preferred qualifications:
- 2 years of experience as a Tech Lead or Site Reliability Engineering.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $144,000-$214,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the YouTube Support Systems tools and systems.
- Work with business partners to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Implement and test new features and applications.
- Monitor and maintain the applications in production.
- Work with other engineers to design and implement new solutions.
