Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in a technical project management or a customer-facing role.
  • 8 years of experience in contingent extended workforce operations.
  • 8 years of experience in program management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or Applied Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with building content with inputs from partners in complex programs e.g., developing and maintaining digital content, drafting publications, newsletters and case studies.
  • Experience in working with and managing partners in complex programs, aligning stakeholders towards strategic initiatives with global/regional impact.
  • Experience in developing communications for the executive level.

gTech's Extended Workforce Solutions (xWS) team empowers Product Areas (PAs) to optimize extended workforce (xW) operations while reducing risks and driving efficiency through the enforcement of Google best practices and policies. We advocate informed decision-making, ensuring our partners find the right talent in the right locations that supports their PA’s needs. Our collaboration across Google leads to streamlined processes, minimizing administrative burdens and optimizing the extended workforce experience. We ensure Google's policies and guidelines are consistently adhered to.

In this role, you will need a history of stakeholder/account management/business partnership, a commitment to inclusive team culture, and excellent cross-functional collaboration skills. You will navigate ambiguity, provide clarity, and focus on results that optimize Google's extended workforce operations. You will directly shape Google's strategy in this space, impacting regulatory, commercial, and operational decisions.

You will need experience in vendor management and program management, excellent communication skills, a commitment to inclusive team culture and exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of senior leadership level communication for Alphabet-wide circulation informing changes in policies, standards and compliance obligations and upcoming milestones on xWS enterprise wide changes including key strategic projects.
  • Leverage domain knowledge and experience in vendor management or extended workforce operations to support solutions and programs.
  • Plan and execute work, contribute to, or lead project scoping, manage and secure project priorities, and advocate for resources based on long-term customer/stakeholder/business objectives.
  • Support the development of processes for high profile cross-functional initiatives including business capacity planning, escalations management and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with managers and cross- functional stakeholders to define solutions for problems by researching and assessing varied approaches leveraging new ideas.
