Technical Solutions Consultant, gUP Search Operations and Initiatives

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience working with web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP).
  • 3 years of experience in coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., SQL, Java, C/C++, Python).
  • Experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience launching and scaling user-facing, production quality partner integrations.
  • Experience with systems integration and process automation.
  • Experience kin managing vendor operations and defining metrics to improve operations.
  • Experience in leading technical projects.
  • Knowledge of the Google Search ecosystem (e.g., Data acquisition, Data analysis and dashboarding, technology, tools).
  • Excellent problem-solving, taking responsibilities and solutioning skills.

The team in gTech provides some of the business operations that support that missions like business planning, budget management, regulatory compliance, scaling through vendors, and process performance.

In this role, you will bridge the gap between commercial requirements and scalable solutions. You will support business operations behind Google Search. You will drive efficiency, productivity, and impact the user and partner experience at a scale.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $118,000-$174,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Work cross-functionally to help define business objectives, implement processes, and leverage tools to optimize customer and Google outcomes.
  • Help in developing solutions through gathering, clarifying and documenting technical requirements. Contribute to discussions with internal teams to define solution scope and constraints. Rapidly prototype candidate solutions using the latest available technologies.
  • Help creating and scaling solutions to solve problems at scale. Identify and implement process improvements. Develop tools, dashboards and troubleshoot technical issues as needed.
  • Create product requirement documents (PRDs) to record product specifications. Validate PRDs, ensuring the customer/partner and internal needs are met.
  • Support the setup and maintenance of vendor operations and tooling needs, ensuring partner satisfaction and efficiency.
