Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 12 years of experience with selling Oracle database software and database infrastructure solutions, particularly the Exadata family of products such as on-prem and cloud, Oracle Autonomous database.
- Experience building and managing agreements or partnerships with System Integrator and other partners.
- Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience delivering cloud agreements including in traditional enterprises.
- Experience working in an overlay sales role influencing cross-functional teams to impact business goals.
- Understanding of the licensing policies and constructs for Oracle software and for running on cloud hyperscalers.
- Understanding of the various Oracle database deployments archetypes like data warehousing, custom and ISV applications and their dependencies.
- Understanding of the Oracle ecosystem including the Oracle Applications portfolio and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

Google Cloud and Oracle have a partnership that allows customers to run Oracle services in Google Cloud and integrate with Google Cloud services.
As a Sales Specialist for Oracle, you will help us grow by building and expanding relationships with new and existing customers to deploy their Oracle workloads on Google Cloud. You will lead day-to-day relationships with cross-functional team members to engage with customers and serve as a sales lead for Oracle on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Responsibilities
- Identify customers Oracle estate, workload types, qualify and progress opportunities for Oracle on Google Cloud.
- Work with the country leadership team to develop segment-specific plans for winning and migrating Oracle workloads to Google Cloud.
- Work with cross-functional teams (e.g. sales representatives, customer engineering, marketing teams) to develop and execute go-to-market strategies.
- Advocate the Oracle on GCP Value Proposition to customers that have Oracle as their platform to build new cloud-native apps with Oracle, migrate custom-built and packaged apps leveraging Oracledatabase@GCP for databases and GCP services for the application tier.
- Collaborate with the partner team to activate Oracle-skilled partners to support the migration of Oracle databases and applications to Google Cloud.
