Associate Account Strategist, Performance (English, Portuguese)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role.
  • Experience with Google Ads or digital marketing.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Portuguese fluently to engage with local stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in analyzing data, creating and maintaining spreadsheets and metrics.
  • Experience with third-party tools optimization for search advertising (e.g., Search Ads 360 or similar).
  • Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, investigative and documentation skills.

As an Associate Account Strategist, you will partner with Agency/Advertisers to implement Google Ads Products by helping them leverage our solutions and advance our customer’s business. In this role, you will manage the relationship to foster the execution and delivery of digital strategies and campaigns, ensuring the performance meets customer’s marketing objectives. You will also develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the Agency/Advertisers core business objectives and challenges to help them achieve operational excellence with our latest innovations and best practices. You'll work with multiple stakeholders to plan, implement and measure scalable product adoption strategies, helping to educate the team and identify future opportunities.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Build media strategies for performance product portfolios and draw parallels across an entire book of business and multiple customers.
  • Prioritize the needs of customers based on opportunity and potential while monitoring and analyzing campaign performance data. Define Key Performance Indicators (KPI) in accordance to clients goals and use performance metrics to measure opportunity and success.
  • Lead efforts to improve Google's ad relevance in Brazil.
  • Work closely with Sales teams and clients, and move fast on maximization requests.
  • Communicate in internal and external meetings, through email and during meetings.
