Senior Signal Integrity Engineer, Platforms

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience working on system-level signal integrity design, or 3 years of experience with an advanced degree.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- Experience with signal and power integrity design techniques.
- Experience with copper cable design techniques and passive characterization.
- Experience with lab measurements and analysis, including Oscilloscopes, Vector Network Analyzer (VNA), or TDR.
- Understanding of high speed digital interconnect design, component-level and integrated system testing, transmission line theory, and electromagnetic theory.
- Excellent data analysis skills and great attention to detail.

Responsibilities
- Lead the system signal integrity design for hardware projects.
- Collaborate with board, system engineers, and design partners, to drive system signal integrity (SI) and cable design. Explore design and manufacturability tradeoffs, and ensure that product functions as required.
- Work with Engineering or Qualification teams on cable qualification, system bring up and design validation.
- Work with Test engineers to interconnect the system system, and bring up qualification, including configuring chips to ensure adequate margin.
- Drive solutions for SI or cabling issues with design engineers, PCB designers, and the System team.
