Senior Intelligence Analyst, Mandiant (English, Spanish, Portuguese)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in a customer-facing analytical role in cyber security (e.g., network forensics analyst, threat intelligence analyst).
  • Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
  • Experience with project management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience researching, writing, and briefing threat intelligence products for executive-level decision makers/customers.
  • Understanding of core cybersecurity concepts, risk management frameworks, common enterprise IT infrastructure components, operating system internals and networking.
  • Ability to apply research methods and analytic techniques to address complex analytic problems.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Spanish/Portuguese fluently to support international clients.

This team specializes in Custom Intelligence engagements for high-priority clients. Our work includes assessing cyber threat risks for organizations, protecting executive-level clients, conducting dark web research and analysis, and delivering briefings to clients in-person and online. We partner closely with Mandiant consulting to deliver these services seamlessly across organizations.

As a Senior Intelligence Analyst, you will be using data to solve complex investigative problems at delivering results under pressure. In this role, you will perform strategic, tactical, and operational research and analysis of cyber threats to provide timely and actionable intelligence to customers. You must be able to see the big picture, understanding evolving attacker behavior and motivations, and clearly explain how the current threat picture applies to each client's need. You will also possess sound business acumen, consulting skills, current technical skills, and be adept in leading multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with clients to develop custom solutions to address intelligence needs.
  • Produce custom problem-solving products for clients based on Mandiant data sources and independent research.
  • Present tactical and strategic intelligence about threat groups, the methodologies they use, and the motivations behind their activity and convey the importance of findings to a variety of audiences.
  • Engage other GTIG teams to stay up-to-date on cyber developments and contribute to intelligence products, collection processes, and the data model.
  • Correlate intelligence to develop deeper understandings of tracked threat activity.
