Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
- 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 3 years of experience working in an organization.

With technical and leadership expertise, you manage engineers across multiple teams and locations, a large product budget and oversee the deployment of large-scale projects across multiple sites internationally.

Through recent launches like Chromecast with Google TV, we bring together the best of Google. Google TV is focused on scaling across the OEM ecosystem; working closely with third-party streaming partners plus many teams across Google (for example: Ads, Play, and YouTube); and building a business on TV platforms, OTT devices, and mobile devices. Responsibilities
- Work on design and implementation of the data infrastructure to support TV analytics, experimentation and Machine Learning data needs.
- Work with partner teams across Google like Android Metrics, Play Analytics, Assistant/Gemini analytics, Home teams. Impact will be across the TV and partner organizations.
- Collaborate with and support TV teams, share on-call work for the wider TV team.
- Work on data compliance needs and work on latest regulations.
- Work and guide SWEs on server technologies including Java/C++ (using Google technologies like Boq, Spanner, Footprints) on an as-needed basis.
