Strategy and Operations Lead, gTech Strategy and Operations

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory, or 4 years of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Legal, Marketing, Finance, Technical).
  • Experience executing complex strategic and operational initiatives.
  • Experience with structuring strategic analysis and messaging using spreadsheets and presentations,
  • Experience implementing strategic and large scale initiatives in a demanding, change-oriented, fast-paced environment requiring a high degree of deadline-driven productivity.
  • Ability to work with different team members to design processes and implement strategic projects that solve business problems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

As a Strategy and Operations Lead, you will be part of a team providing deep project leadership to solve strategic questions in the gTech organization. You will develop solutions to complex, ambiguous and high-visibility business problems and opportunities. You will work in close partnership with gTech teams and Strategy and Operations colleagues. You will be a collaborative, data-driven, and a problem solver who is able to lead and manage multiple workstreams, projects, and stakeholders across time zones on a global scale. You will be working with key partners across gTech to lead and support a mix of strategic and operational projects. You will also support the development of plans and recommendations for global and regional projects.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the business, supporting the leadership on key strategic initiatives and building operational excellence. Helping chart out and fulfill big bets for the business in line with the leadership’s strategic goal.
  • Problem solve with executive leaders to deliver strategic insights and recommendations based on business analyses to drive projects and initiatives forward.
  • Project manage major strategic initiatives across multiple gTech teams and proactively engage Google-wide stakeholders when needed (e.g., projects that cross-Product, Sales, Marketing, and Policy).
  • Launch and land organizational change management plans for mid- to long-term transformational initiatives.
