Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in front-end development, technical UX design, or prototyping.
  • Experience in application development in one or more platforms/areas (e.g., web, iOS, Android, CompDes, XR).

Preferred qualifications:

  • 7 years of experience developing responsive, adaptive, and performant websites and applications.
  • 6 years of experience as a front-end developer, UX Engineer, creative or design technologist, or in a prototyping design environment.
  • Experience with Generative AI technologies, especially large language models (LLMs) and models tailored for conversation or customer service.
  • Experience working in ambiguous, "zero-to-one" product development environments.
  • Experience with modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Svelte) and back-end development (e.g., Python, Node.js).
  • Proficient in building full-stack interactive prototypes.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $159,000-$233,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team of designers, researchers, product managers, and software engineers to conceptualize and build a range of interactive prototypes that explore novel user experiences for AI-powered customer and agent support.
  • Design and build a range of prototypes for new agent platform integrations, standalone agentic UIs, and other tools that help agents throughout the entire support life-cycle, ranging from prototypes and concept explorations to more robust, internally scalable versions.
  • Communicate and demonstrate your prototypes to a variety of stakeholders, clearly articulating the underlying technology and the agent/customer value of your creations.
  • Identify opportunities and build tools that accelerate our own team's design, research and development.
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to translate futuristic concepts into actionable steps, influencing product roadmaps with working demos.
