Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
- 3 years of experience as a product manager for data analysis and machine learning software products.
- 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience building long-term, scalable, and easy-to-use AI platforms or infrastructure for foundation model based applications.
- Experience managing day-to-day technical and design discussions and decisions in medium-to-large engineering teams.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear strategic narratives for leadership.
- Passion for leveraging advanced ML techniques to solve complex data problems and create differentiated user experiences.

The Local Ads Data Platform team's mission is to enrich Local Ads user experiences and power growth with high integrity multi-modal data assets. Our strategic pillars include data acquisition, data integrity, and data infrastructure.
As a Product Manager, you will be at the forefront of sourcing and maintaining high-integrity data assets (e.g., imagery, text, etc.) that power differentiated, AI-enabled advertiser and user experiences. You will be responsible for expanding our data ecosystem, building user trust at scale, and driving sustainable impact in a high-growth area of Google Ads.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $163,000-$237,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Drive AI-First Data Strategy for acquiring unique first-party and third-party multi-modal data sources to power next-generation Local Ads AI/ML models.
- Drive the end-to-end product lifecycle for new features and models, test their performance, and iterate quickly to deliver user and advertiser impact.
- Analyze escalations regarding data quality and infrastructure, partnering with Engineering to scope robust solutions and define clear success metrics.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, UX, and partner product management teams to translate business needs into detailed technical requirements and prioritize initiatives and effectively communicate strategy and progress to stakeholders at all levels.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to source data, manage complex project timelines, and unblock high-impact launches.
