Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- 15 years of experience in the sales/business development function demonstrating a clear progression to leadership positions.
- 10 years of experience selling IT solutions to Federal Health agencies (e.g., Veterans Affairs, NIH, FDA, HHS, etc.)
- 10 years of experience in go-to-market and leading a team to meet business growth goals.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience establishing and maintaining the unique business infrastructure and compliant processes relevant for this particular customer set.
- Experience in customer engagement across the Federal Health Sector, with experience building businesses/products and business growth consistently.
- Experience managing a hyper growth business.
- Experience and technical expertise in cloud computing.
- Established reputation in the market and actionable list of network contacts.
About the job
As the Director of Federal Health within Google Cloud, you will be responsible for partnering with senior level government executives in the relevant Federal Health agencies and entities to ensure we are bringing our Google Cloud product, solutions and expertise to help solve the consequential challenges they are facing today.
In this role, you will drive the team to meet and exceed demanding growth goals. You will fully understand the technology of Google’s solutions in the enterprise space, and bring to bear a robust operational approach to recruiting, coaching, and managing your team.
You'll partner with leadership and peers to set direction for work that impacts multiple lines of business. You will influence and contribute to the development of varied organizations across your businesses focus. You'll share the responsibilities of leading the broader organization with peers, facilitating talent mobility and development. You will lead, and be responsible for, high profile accounts within the various Federal Health agencies.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $198,000-$285,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Lead the team to meet bookings goals for the organization by leveraging their network within the US government.
- Recruit talent and coach the team with a focus on providing actionable feedback, with the intent to produce the next generation of leadership for Google Cloud.
- Create and drive innovative programs focused on delivering growth at scale. Meet with customers, prospects, and policy makers and participate in shaping key business agreements and accounts within the sector.
- Continue to advocate for operational excellence in the organization, generating opportunities and growth with the correct processes and supporting activities.
- Provide visionary leadership of where the federal cloud market is going in the future and how Google Cloud supports that, both internally and to federal customers.
