Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in customer-facing roles (e.g., driving professional services or transformation strategies) in the cloud or enterprise technology domain.
  • Experience managing end-to-end commercial agreement pursuit and services agreement life-cycles (e.g., agreement qualification, agreement scoping, agreement development, agreement negotiation).
  • Experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) technologies, services, and adoption frameworks.
  • Experience with executive-level customer relationships (e.g., acting as an advisor or portfolio leader).
  • Ability to communicate in English and Spanish fluently to engage with clients in the region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience developing holistic services strategies and repeatable solutions across a customer portfolio.
  • Ability to be a thought leadership, business, and industry acumen, coupled with experience collaborating across internal organizations (Sales, PSO, Partners).
  • Ability to drive business outcomes and consumption acceleration through governance and execution oversight of signed engagements.

About the job

As a Pursuit Lead, you will help customers successfully adopt Google Cloud products. You will lead the development of professional services, learning, and technical account manager pitches, strategies, and engagements with our customers to help drive the successful adoption of Google Cloud working alongside our Go-to-Market teams.

In this role, you will build and maintain effective relationships with the field sales and customer engineering, and consulting services teams, to assign, allocate, and prioritize pursuit lead activities for their customers. You will activate the GCC services strategy in the region, overseeing engagement during the early business life-cycle to ensure customers have service plans that will enable them to achieve business goals with Google Cloud. You will partner with sales and partner leaders in the region to ensure the regional pursuit lead team engages effectively and seamlessly during the early business life-cycle. You will drive operational excellence in the region, understanding the pipeline dynamics and analytics to drive action plans to ensure plans are achieved. You will oversee the effective completion of agreement qualification, service package, delivery strategy and approach, agreement sign-off, and contract completion.Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. Responsibilities

  • Define, own, and articulate the comprehensive services and transformation strategy for a specific customer portfolio, partnering directly with the corresponding sales leadership including Managing Directors (MDs) and Vice Presidents (VPs).
  • Architect the end-to-end customer services journey, managing the entire services life-cycle from qualification through contracting and creating proposals, leveraging a value services approach to accelerate cloud adoption.
  • Translate customer business goals into a defined services roadmap, scope the required professional services work, and orchestrate the engagement of the right delivery resources.
  • Cultivate and maintain executive relationships across the customer portfolio, acting as a trusted advisor and thought leader on Google Cloud's service offerings and transformation capabilities.
  • Drive the successful execution and governance of signed professional services engagements to ensure timely project delivery, consumption acceleration, and achievement of expected business goals.
