Technology Practice Lead, AI

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience as a pre-sales or engineering manager in relation to AI.
  • 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role, in the enterprise space.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in AI frameworks, products, or solutions.
  • Experience working with recommendation engines, data pipelines, or distributed machine learning.
  • Experience with data analytics, data visualization techniques, and building and developing executive relationships.
  • Knowledge of technology and business challenges in public cloud.
  • Ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries, build relationships, and import and export talent and ideas to achieve a broader organizational goal.
  • Ability to learn, understand, and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space.

As a Technology Practice Leader for AI in the Asia-Pacific region, you will be the leader responsible for bringing experience and thought leadership to help set mission and strategy for our AI products and offerings. You will be a part of the Solutions and Technology team and you will work with strategic account teams and sales leadership to drive solution adoption by customers and activation of the broader community of AI specialists across Asia-Pacific. You will combine the competencies of agreement support, partner enablement, strategy consulting, agreement structuring, and importantly, AI experience. You will work with aligned business resources and support cross-functional pursuit teams. In addition, a key part of the responsibility will be to take product feedback from customers and the field teams to engineering and get blockers removed or key features accelerated for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Drive adoption of AI solutions and conduct technical engagements and pilots around AI solutions.
  • Drive initiatives that help coach and enable Google Cloud specialist teams around AI solutions, narratives and competitive differentiators.
  • Establish working relationships with Google strategic account teams, sales leadership, professional services, product management, engineering and solution management, Global System Integrator Partners, and executive staff.
  • Travel up to 50% of the time as required to visit customers across a defined geographic territory.
