Senior International Growth Consultant, Mid-Market Sales, Google Customer Solutions (Chinese, English)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in a client-facing, sales, strategy, or business-engagement role within advertising, consulting, or internet.
  • Ability to communicate in Chinese and English fluently to support clients in Greater China region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge of one or more international markets/regions, with the ability to thrive in an international/multicultural environment.
  • Knowledge of Google Ads products.
  • Ability to lead complex cross-functional projects to unlock incremental revenue, and to influence executive/regional stakeholders.
  • Ability to coach and grow junior team members.
  • Excellent sense of ownership and business acumen, with the ability to be innovative with an entrepreneurial mindset, and to act and advise in ambiguity.
  • Excellent data driven business mindset, and problem identification and solving skills through quantitative analysis.

The International Growth Team (IGT) helps customers and Google realize the full potential of international growth across Google Ads. Our team accelerates customers’ and Google’s international growth, empowers Google by enabling sellers and building the right tools, and democratizes export success. We are global growth experts, and our team leverages Google's unique data resources and market expertise to help businesses navigate the complex world of international commerce. We identify opportunities, break down barriers, and develop customized strategies for success in new and existing export markets. As an expert on international expansion and a member of a global network, you will be a trusted advisor and partner to our customers. From strategic planning support, identifying the right target markets, to setting them up for success within their non-domestic footprint, you'll provide insights and direct support, helping them reach and exceed their international ambitions. Working closely with advertisers, you'll develop an in-depth understanding of their business needs, objectives, and decision processes. Your entrepreneurial spirit, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities will allow you to identify the levers for success. Based on your knowledge of online media and in-depth understanding of our product suite, you will create solutions that turn these plans into results. You will play a key role in a highly visible, exciting growth area in Google.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the MMS sales team to accelerate international growth for a joint portfolio.
  • Identify international growth opportunities based on existing frameworks and tools, and develop new ideas and approaches to drive international growth and scale for an assigned portfolio.
  • Lead strategic cross-functional projects to deliver incremental revenue.
  • Contribute to growing international growth acumen and resources within Google. Build thorough knowledge related to advertising on Google.
  • Coach junior team members, and co-build team culture.
