Strategic Partner Development Manager, Mobile Apps (English, Ukrainian, Russian)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role.
  • Experience in the app developer landscape and technology.
  • This is a customer-facing role that requires interactions in English, Ukrainian, and Russian with local stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a Business related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Experience working with business generation products.
  • Knowledge of the apps ecosystem, business models, distribution channels, industry landscape, and developer success metrics.

Apps and Gaming Partnerships team (part of Sellside business generation) is responsible for growing Google's business with large and strategic partner managers by providing exceptional business partner management for Google's suite of sell-side mobile app products (AdMob + Google Ad Manager). The responsibilities of the team include deepening existing relationships, driving product adoptions, developing strategic business goals for partners, and delivering product insights to product team to continue improving our suite of products.

In this role, you will work with growing mobile developers/gaming studios across Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) by showcasing how Google's range of product offerings can grow their business. Using your knowledge of the industry, combined with your communication skills and experience of how the apps ecosystem works, you will provide the right strategic advice that will enable partners to grow using Google products. You will become a key thought-leader for the apps industry by being recognized as a key expert for both gaming and non-gaming companies.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with the accelerating, high potential apps and gaming developers, and help them grow their businesses using Google products.
  • Build trusted, strategic relationships with partners and develop a thorough understanding of their business challenges.
  • Work on the product needs of developers, reviewing the competition, and work with Product Specialists to help drive the mobile product strategy. 
  • Responsible for driving business growth for our partners and leverage everything Google provides to make them successful. 
  • Represent Google at developer conferences, in-person meetings, and marketing events and advocate for Google products to app developers in EMEA.
