Delivery Excellence Manager, Global Delivery Center, Google Cloud (English, Spanish)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in a technical project management or a customer-facing role.
  • Experience in creating and implementing quality transformation programs.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Spanish fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master’s degree in a Management, Technical, or Engineering field.
  • Experience collaborating with teams, groups, business units, channel partners, systems integrators, and third-party developers to deliver high-impact solutions.
  • Understanding of process definition approaches and Industry quality standards and Models.
  • Ability to influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels of management.
  • Ability to translate data and trends into powerful strategies and compelling messaging.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, problem-solving, and client management skills.

About the job

As a Delivery Excellence Manager for the Global Delivery Center, you will drive initiatives and programs that impact global customer delivery in LATAM and Northam. You will work with cross-functional stakeholders, analyze industry trends, drive industry best practices, and propose scalable strategies that lead to high quality delivery. You will be responsible for leading the implementation of Governance within LATAM and supporting the rollout of global initiatives.

Working closely with various internal groups to understand business requirements, you will implement processes, collaborate on planning and budgeting activities, and contribute to ongoing process improvements. You will build an understanding of cloud delivery and nuances; partner with other teams to drive cross-functional initiatives to increase operational flexibility to meet business demands, while maintaining a high-level of effectiveness and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Identify the process opportunities and work with teams to help streamline delivery, drive delivery excellence through continuous improvement, and remove redundancies.
  • Define key success metrics and execution plans, review organizational efficiencies, and develop organizational design proposals to achieve service model excellence.
  • Assess in-market tool and capability needs and develop proposals to improve operating efficiencies across workflows and process flows in collaboration with the automation team.
  • Lead the development and deployment of standard delivery methods, delivery excellence strategies, metrics, and estimators globally and identify areas of improvement at project levels, mentor project managers on strategies for improvement, customize the strategy for projects, and verify implementation the strategy.
  • Perform risk assessment and mitigation involving multiple groups, identify risk levels, perform root cause analysis, and be responsible for enabling operation strategy, services architecture, quality assurance, infrastructure, and platforms.
