Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience in Facilities Management and Construction.
  • Experience in managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience in vendor partnership management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in Data Center system construction or operations.
  • Knowledge of Data Center Operations, and Engineering.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders to drive risk management and escalation reporting.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

In this role, you will lead the management of supply chain delivery activities for data center infrastructure components, ensuring on-time, and seamless Owner Furnished Equipment (OFE) product delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Project Teams and the Supplier to maintain On-Time Equipment Delivery, expediting and mitigating equipment delivery risks.
  • Manage and maintain project deliverables and change management oversight.
  • Oversee Risk Escalations with all stakeholders including project and program level.
  • Drive risk identification and mitigation activities including transfer of ownership, equipment protection plans, and loose ship material management.
  • Develop hand-off process to be used by the contractors for approval/acceptance of shipments delivered to site.
