Head of Sales, Enterprise, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of sales experience in the technology industry with SaaS, PaaS or IaaS products and platforms.
  • 10 years of team management experience.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in managing cross-functional internal teams (e.g. Business Development, Customer Engineers, Partner Sales) and external partners in implementation of projects and negotiations.
  • Ability to acquire new accounts, territories, and manage business and commercial models while leading organizational transformations while delivering results.
  • Ability to build and lead a sizable field business team, and to be seen as the default trusted advisor by the customers.

As part of an entrepreneurial team in this growing business, you as the Head of Sales for Industry Pursuit team will play a role in understanding the needs of Google's customers and help shape the future of businesses of all sizes using technology to connect with customers, employees and partners. You will lead a team of field business representatives who strive to make a significant impact on the success of the customers, which translates into business growth and customer satisfaction in the assigned territory. You come with a proven track record of acquiring new accounts and will lead the team to create an industry-first approach focusing on three sectors: Retail, FSI and Auto/Telco/Manufacturing through understanding the customers' business challenges and strategic goals, identifying and articulating the unique value to the customers, and mobilizing internal resources to serve and deliver the customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of performing field business representatives and create an inclusive and growth-oriented culture. Focus on skill development and coaching to exceed business goals for the territory and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Acquire new customers with the industry-first approach top manufacturing account.
  • Build and expand relationships with C-level executives. Serve as the Cloud subject matter expert (SME), and influence the term direction of these accounts.
  • Develop and execute account plans, including a broader enterprise plan across verticals to go in the territory. Manage the team day-to-day, providing support for critical business opportunities and career mentorship.
  • Collaborate with Google accounts and technical teams to develop, drive pipelines and provide expertise. Develop Go-To-Market (GTM) efforts with Google Cloud Platform partners.
