Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in data analytics, Trust and Safety, policy, cybersecurity, business strategy, or related fields.
- 1 year of experience in people management, leading a team.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's or PhD in relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with machine learning.
- Experience in SQL, building dashboards, data collection/transformation, visualization/dashboards, or experience in a scripting/programming language (e.g.,Python).
- Experience working with engineering and product teams to create tools, solutions, or automation to improve user safety.
- Experience working with policy teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) and the ability to influence cross-functionally at various levels.

Trust & Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. They use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and our partners from abuse across Google products like Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. On this team, you're a big-picture thinker and strategic team-player with a passion for doing what’s right. You work globally and cross-functionally with Google engineers and product managers to identify and fight abuse and fraud cases at Google speed - with urgency. In this role, you will lead a team dedicated to fostering trust and ensuring user safety within Google Shopping, with the goal of enhancing both user and merchant experiences. You will inspire and motivate your team while leveraging your investigative skills and data-driven insights to achieve meaningful outcomes. Cultivate relationships and collaborate effectively with Trust and Saftey (T&S) Leadership and cross-functionals you will drive the strategy for Shopping Product Listing Ads, Offer Quality, and User generated content enforcement. Your technical expertise and exceptional communication skills will be instrumental in creating a positive and secure experience for all Google Shopping users and merchants.

Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and performance manage a team of analysts responsible for policy enforcement for Product Listing Ads, Offer Quality, and User generated Content in Google Shopping playing a key role in shaping the team's tactical direction.
- Act as a representative for T&S with cross-functional partners, influencing their decisions and actions while collaborating with executive internal and external stakeholders to manage and resolve escalations that could pose legal, regulatory, or reputational risks.
- Identify and address issues by developing programs and processes.
- Monitor trends, perspectives, and issues that could impact enforcement and operations, and support initiatives aimed at enhancing the overall user and merchant experience.
