Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience with data analytics, reports/dashboard, and data pipelines using SQL.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience with leveraging AI/ML for enhanced data analytics solutions, such as predictive modeling or anomaly detection.
  • Experience influencing and leading organizational change in metrics organizations.
  • Experience building and deploying data governance practices.
  • Experience managing teams/data engineers to develop analytics solutions and lead data operations.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

The Cloud Supply Chain Data team is chartered to provide business analytics, ML, and insights to enable Cloud Supply Chain and Operations (CSCO) users with the data for making decisions from a single source of truth. The team extends Google’s analytical platforms and partners with cross-organizational data providers.

As a Technical Program Manager, you will lead the next generation of business intelligence platforms, reporting, and intelligence globally for Cloud Supply Chain Operations teams. You will work with internal and external customers to build cascading dashboards and reports, diagnostic analytics, and own a server operations measurement framework for decision making. You will manage projects that often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres while keeping teams coordinated on the project's progress and deadlines.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$189,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Work cross-functionally with global geographically distributed program managers, data engineers, and data scientists to understand, implement, and deploy analytics solutions.
  • Establish an operations measurement framework and develop and execute a long-term strategy.
  • Drive best practice improvements for both system and process to achieve data integrity, data transparency, and a positive user experience.
  • Drive system and process development to improve the quality of analytics products with respect to data security, data quality, and data privacy.
  • Provide mentorship/coaching to other team members.
