Senior Field Sales Representative, Navy, Google Public Sector

This position requires that you currently possess and maintain an active Secret Security Clearance. The position further requires that the applicants will obtain a commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform GPS work. Failure to maintain (or obtain, if applicable) the appropriate U.S. Government clearance or customer screening requirements that results in the employee unable to perform the requirements of the role, may result in employment action up to and including termination.

Additionally, you must be a US Citizen to meet customer and compliance requirements, including potential access to classified information.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience with quota-carrying cloud or software sales, or strategic account management at a B2B software company.
  • Experience in enterprise technology sales and or government technology sales, supporting Navy clients.
  • Active US Government Secret Security Clearance.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience selling cloud solutions, infrastructure software, databases, analytic tools, or applications software across multiple industries, aligning solutions to drive business outcomes.
  • Experience working with Customer Engineers and customers' technical leads to inventory software estate, define migration plans, and build migration business cases.
  • Experience cultivating C-level relationships and influencing executives.
  • Deep understanding of NAVWAIR programs and buying practices.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $110,000-$164,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Generate a plan to ensure broad account engagement with large accounts within the territory.
  • Develop and provide business strategy connected to the company mission that aligns to the GPS Cloud strategy.
  • Gather, manage, and direct the larger GPS team to assist with the account strategy.
  • Work collaboratively with your direct team to grow the business both in booking and business generation.
