Reverse Supply Chain Program Manager, Global Supply Operations, Supply Chain and Commercial Operations

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 year of experience in program or project management.
  • 1 year of experience managing programs and processes in the supply chain domain.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ability to deliver results against key operational metrics and KPI’s, with ability to root cause issues and drive corrective actions to improve performance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, weigh risks and opportunities to desired outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills and successful influence across multiple levels of the organization.
  • Deliver data driven/fact based analysis for business proposal, supply chain design and supply risk mitigation.
  • Comfortable shifting between detailed analysis and big picture thinking, and customizing communications based on the audience.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

A critical Google Global Networking and Infrastructure (GGN&I) function that owns the end-to-end supply of materials and services to build, sustain and scale Google’s network to meet product area and enterprise customer needs. Impacts Google cloud’s revenue, GGN&I unit costs and critical Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) (such as network delivery) and NPIs. Experienced supply chain and operational team members servicing global customers, Product Areas (PAs) and partner teams. Globally based team across key regions and countries.

The NOSCO team manages the materials supply chain required to support our production network build and delivery to Google PAs and enterprise customers. We also support contracting, funding, and billing of Google’s network assets and services. We focus on supporting network reliability, capacity delivery and cost efficiencies in partnership with other GGN&I, TI teams, and Google PAs beyond GGN&I.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for operational management of reverse supply chain processes such as decommissioning of network gear and replacement of damaged or faulty parts in the network.
  • Drive operational metrics and KPI performance. Conduct root cause analysis and close performance gaps.
  • Be responsible for defining the business requirements and contribute to developing both systems and tools that enable reverse supply chain operational effectiveness.
  • Collaborate effectively with the internal and external partners supporting the reverse supply chain operational activities.
  • Support development and implement end-to-end reverse supply chain processes that scale to support the volume growth and in different locations globally.
