Regional Product Lead, Video Commerce (English, Mandarin)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience with product management, marketing, management consulting, or project management in technology.
  • Experience in working with product management or engineering teams, executive leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience in developing business strategies or managing cross-functional initiatives.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with YouTube’s commerce-focused suite (e.g., demand generation, merchant center, partnership ads) and the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or eCommerce.
  • Experience in presenting to C-level executives.
  • Experience with Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy, using data (View-Through Rate (VTR), Return on Advertising Spend (ROAS), Brand Lift) to identify market bottlenecks and build business cases.
  • Ability to manage workflows and agreement trackers in a changing environment.

About the job

The YouTube Business Product Activation Team is responsible for bringing product to market and market to product. The team works closely with both business and product leaders to scale adoption of YouTube products across the partner and creator ecosystem.

The core capabilities of the team include: designing go-to-market strategies, identifying and prioritizing product activation opportunities across the business, ensuring launch readiness, defining and driving execution on product activation across segments, understanding needs of partners and creators to provide Product teams with market feedback and prioritization to shape product roadmaps, developing content strategy, collecting and synthesizing user feedback, and tracking performance. Google Customer Solutions (GCS) sales teams are trusted advisors and competitive sellers who maintain a relentless focus on customer success by bringing the best Google has to offer to small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), which are the backbone of our communities. Responsibilities

  • Act as the specialist for a Named Account List (NAL) of accounts, co-pitch with promoters to drive adoption of Partnership Ads, YouTube Engagement Ads, and YouTube/Shopping/Commerce solutions. Be responsible for regional YouTube overall business growth with existing members in the region.
  • Work with Google Customer Solutions (GCS) business, existing YouTube specialists, and the YouTube Partnerships (YTP) and Community Partner Manager (CPM) teams to build the quality experience for the advertisers to work with creators and brands.
  • Be the owner of the Go-to-Market (GTM)/On-Platform business growth and make strategy including business and marketing, business enablement, and product strategy to shape the future of products in the region.
