Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
- 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- 5 years of experience in software development using one or more programming languages (C++, Python, Java).
- 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Experience developing accessible technologies.

Google Cloud Console is Google Cloud Platform (GCP's) main user interface, used by over 80% of GCP customers to onboard and manage their services. The console consists of over 250+ sub-applications built by approximately 1800 engineers. The Cloud Console Platform Infrastructure team is responsible for the entire console stack, enabling feature teams to develop, deploy, and serve applications to GCP customers. This team is responsible for the web server for console.cloud.google.com, the deployment and hosting system for feature teams building console applications. The infrastructure serves these applications to console end-users. The client infrastructure renders these applications in the console. The Shell and Navigation components presented across all applications. Search and Chat experiences to discover GCP offerings.They also develop platform capabilities to support AI experiences across GCP.

- Own all aspects of assigned software engineering projects. Plan, research and execute on prioritized technical projects in a self-directed fashion.
- Set technical directions for a group of engineers. Scope and solve technical problems, design/execute long-term software engineering projects, and own/develop key features for a critical Google Cloud Platform (GCP) product.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance functionality/reliability of our products and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with the team and technical leads to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Be the go-to person for assigned projects to cross-functional partners and GCP service teams.
