Technical Program Manager II, Data Governance, Cloud Supply Chain

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience with SQL and Python, dashboard creation, data architecture and data governance.
  • Experience working with supply chain operations or data center equipment teams.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree in Business Process Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related disciplines.
  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience working with master data, data governance and MDM solutions.
  • Experience in SQL, Python, Tableau, Metrics Dashboards and Data Visualization (e.g., calendar, sheets, drive, docs, forms etc).
  • Proficiency in Project Management Professional (PMP) standards, Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt), DMAIC, Lean, Value Stream Mapping, SIPOC, SCIPAB, and other industry-standard quality tools.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

As a Technical Program Manager within the Enterprise Data, Analytics, and Process Transformation (EDAPT) team part of the Supply Chain Operations Excellence (SCOE) organization, you will lead initiatives to enhance delivery results. You will be responsible for ensuring our Supply Chain functions operate with "trusted" data while synthesizing data insights with physical supply chain constraints to drive actionable recommendations. Your expertise in supply chain program management and analytics will be critical in transforming and deploying massive volumes of data center equipment and technology across our global footprint. You will collaborate closely with Planning, Purchasing, Operations, Engineering, Logistics, New Product Introduction (NPI), Global Commodity Management (GCM), and Contract Manufacturing teams to implement best practices and ensure the on-time delivery of Google’s rapidly expanding hardware infrastructure.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$189,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver supply chain optimization projects, fostering cross-functional collaboration to achieve stakeholder alignment and drive operational excellence.
  • Drive and uphold data quality and governance standards to optimize supply chain operations and decision-making.
  • Oversee process improvement programs and maintain data stewardship practices for the Equipment Supply Chain Planning and Operations team.
  • Collaborate on the development of the supply chain data model and provide functional expertise in assessing change requests, conducting impact analyses, and shaping system architecture to ensure data integrity.
