Business Analytics Manager, YouTube, Trust and Safety

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math, Quantitative Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 9 years of experience in statistical problem-solving and analyzing data sets using SQL or comparable coding language (e.g., Python, R, Java, C++).
- 9 years of experience working in data analytics, consulting, data science, engineering, or a technical operations role.
- 2 years of experience managing a team.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, etc.) with experience in trust and safety.
- Experience collecting, managing and synthesizing large data sets and information from disparate sources, statistical modeling, data mining and data analysis.
- Experience with consultative problem solving and project management, and in metrics analysis, experiment design and automation.
- Experience scaling and developing an analytics or business intelligence team in a high-growth environment.
- Experience influencing executive leadership on analytical decision making.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, and presentation skills with effective attention to detail.

Responsibilities
- Formulate a practical long-term strategy and goal and lead a dedicated analyst team to work closely with operations, product, and engineering across YouTube Trust and Safety.
- Measure, analyze, and develop opportunities to enhance operations at scale in a fast-paced environment.
- Manage and develop a team of business analysts, and support them through creating and deploying scaled solutions ranging from complex statistical measurements, experimentation and insight platforms, and externalized data and reporting pipelines.
- Collaborate closely with various cross-functional stakeholders and act as a thought-partner to EMEA operations leadership across multiple verticals.
