Senior AI Strategist

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in program management, strategy, product management, or business operations.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or Applied Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with no-code/low-code AI tools and a willingness to learn.
  • Direct experience leading the strategy, development, and deployment of impactful AI/ML solutions in a business or consumer context.
  • Proven track record of driving large-scale, complex initiatives requiring extensive change management, senior stakeholder alignment across conflicting priorities, and execution at scale.
  • Deep knowledge of global HR/People Operations processes and service operations transformation.
  • Passion and advanced ability to organize highly complex information to structure decision-making and align senior stakeholders.

About the job

AI Garage is a new initiative within People Operations (POps) and Corp Engineering, established with the goal of leveraging AI to transform Google’s HR products and operations. Our team sits at the intersection of Business, Product and Engineering to ideate, design and launch industry defining Agentic systems and capabilities. We are a cross-functional team of AI specialists who work with business teams to design impactful, industry defining AI solutions by re-imaginging existing workflows, and engage closely with engineering teams to develop, test and deploy them.

As an Enterprise AI Strategist, you will lead several projects in our portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Lead efforts to update existing solution content or create repeatable content (e.g., best practices recommendations, tutorials, blog articles, sample code) and ensure effective documentation of repeatable solutions.
  • Lead identification, execution, and sustaining of solutions based on user/partner/client business objectives and technical requirements that have been previously defined, developed, and approved for one large or multiple smaller projects.
  • Identify trends of solution issues across users/partners/clients and collaborate with internal teams to mitigate risks in the future.
  • Lead the development of technical or nontechnical solutions based on user/partner/client business objectives that are compliant with legal.
  • Define business opportunities, product gaps, and develop long-term solution goal and strategy in collaboration with cross-functional and cross-organizational teams and influence the direction and priority of business outcomes or technical product features.
