About the job
A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
As a Technical Program Manager focused on Enterprise Network Engineering, you'll work on the Google Enterprise Network (GEN) team to ensure the security, reliability, scalability, and automation of one of the largest enterprise networks in the world. You'll define priorities based on our Strategic OKR's to drive network product development and lifecycle decisions. You'll be working with Network Engineers, Software Engineers, and Operations teams to ensure new solutions meet Operational needs and drive out technical debt and design/deployment snowflakes.
TPgMs in GEN solve challenging problems relating to efficient scaling, security and high availability as Google continues to push the boundaries for innovative new technologies.
