Go-To-Market Lead, Google TV

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in partner development, sales, business strategy, agreement advisory, and execution in the media and entertainment content industry.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or a related field.
  • Experience working autonomously in a dynamic, ever-changing, and collaborative environment.
  • Experience managing complex, end-to-end partnerships.
  • Experience with programmatic advertising with the knowledge of DV3.
  • Ability to identify potential business opportunities, assess financial/business benefit, structure agreements, and discuss terms with strategic partners.
  • Ability to partner effectively across a complex global matrixed organization and align multiple cross-functional executive stakeholders.

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.

The Google TV Go-To-Market (GTM) team is responsible for the go-to-market and business generation efforts focusing on Google TV globally. We focus on developing, scaling, and executing business generation-focused content programs in line with strategic growth initiatives. As we continue to grow globally, this team sits within the product organization to be a bridge between Product, Business Development, Marketing and Ads. The goal is to help build a sustainable TV business and innovate Google TV business models with our content partners.

Google TV is redefining the TV experience to make it highly personalized, Google-smart, and content-forward to help users access the world’s media. Through recent launches like Chromecast with Google TV, we bring together the best of Google. Google TV is focused on scaling across the OEM ecosystem; working closely with third-party streaming partners plus many teams across Google (for example: Ads, Play, and YouTube); and building a business on TV platforms, OTT devices, and mobile devices. With over 110 million active users of our products plus being amidst the quickly evolving media and entertainment industry, there are plenty of opportunities for the team and individuals in it.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $134,000-$196,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Drive success for Google TV Sponsorships, Takeovers, and Ads programs through leading the development of Communications and Sales Collateral (i.e., Sales Narratives, Media Plans, etc.) to support scales Google TV (GTV) sales activation .
  • Drive partner success for GTV tent pole programs by overseeing campaign planning, execution and by providing performance updates, including regular reporting and direct communication with sellers and advertising partners.
  • Strengthen Google TV commercialization through strategic narrative updates, compelling packaging, creative program ideation and effective go-to-market initiatives. Align editorial programs with business generation efforts for a portfolio of programs.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless campaign execution, encompassing regular MH campaigns and sponsorships. Maintain regular tracking revenue and pacing performance across first-party GTV Ads and Sponsorship opportunities via relevant dashboards.
  • Support client pitch development and leadership updates in partnership with GTM Lead.
