Go-to-Market Compliance Programs Manager, Google Cloud (English)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in an enterprise business-to-business software company.
  • 3 years of demonstrated project/program management of commercial or compliance projects, spanning cross functional teams.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently as this is a role that requires communication with US and Canada based partners in English.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA, Master’s degree or advanced degree.
  • Experience with strategy and operations.
  • Experience developing and delivering C-level communications.
  • Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills and business acumen.

About the job

The Go-To-Market (GTM) Commercial Office is a thought partner for the GTM President and Regional leadership team, responsible for developing and executing on strategic agreements and customer relationships and works to provide a positive experience for customers and employees. The Commercial Office is responsible for streamlining the entire agreements process, identifying new challenges and opportunities in the system, gathering feedback from the field and market, and improving the ability to execute agreements efficiently, improving both the field team and customer experience.

In this role, you will be responsible for implementing, and managing programs that ensure our sales organization operates in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. This includes ensuring compliance with laws and regulations related to data privacy, anti-corruption, anti-competition, export controls etc. You will work closely with sales leadership, legal, and other stakeholders to identify and mitigate compliance risks, develop and deliver training programs, and monitor sales activities for compliance. You will play a vital role in ensuring that it complies with global legal and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Set the goal and direction for Commercial Compliance program by outlining goals and objectives, evaluating and running multiple projects, organizing cross-project work within the program, and defining program controls/governance/standards.
  • Track, monitor, report out on the multitude of compliance initiatives that are driven by the Commercial Office.
  • Manage blockers and work towards resolution working cross-functionally striving for continuous improvement.
  • Drive critical analysis and recommendations on highest priority topics and escalations related to compliance strategy across our Go-to-Market (GTM) motions.
  • Develop clear, simple and persuasive communications to influence senior stakeholders and keep informed on progress, highlighting risks and mitigation plans.
