Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in programming languages (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and in SQL, XML, HTTP protocols, and databases.
- Ability to communicate in English and Japanese fluently to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
- 1 year of experience in Mobile Apps or Web development.
- Experience in customer-facing sales, sales engineering, consulting or related fields.
- Experience with mobile app technologies such as: iOS (Objective-C) and Android (Java) development.
- Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving, investigative, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin fluently in order to interact with internal and external stakeholders.

The gReach Program is a 12 months paid upskilling program for industry professionals with disabilities where participants will receive on-the-job-training and work on a range of projects. The goal of the gReach program is to provide participants from underrepresented groups with the opportunity to grow their career as professionals.
Ad Tech Sales Engineering team is a team in Global Partnership Sellside that works closely with Business functions and customers to develop and implement successful technical solutions strategy leveraging our Google business generation products. You will maintain and further accelerate the growth of our largest Google partners by helping them implement and troubleshoot Google Apps business generation solutions (AdMob, Firebase) in mobile apps and games.
Google helps our partners find better ways to reach their audiences and manage their digital businesses. In return, our partners provide great content for our products, and they syndicate Google products to enhance their sites and apps. Global Partnerships team members expand and support these relationships by continually finding new opportunities and solving technical problems for our partners. The wider Global Partnerships team includes a variety of different organizations, including CorpDev, Emerging Business Development, Strategy and Operations, Google for Startups, Area 120 and our Display Advertising Business.
Responsibilities
- Develop solutions and provide consulting services to meet our largest partners needs. Enable the whole process from product testing, implementation to troubleshooting technical issues these partners face when using the product and platform.
- Provide pre-sales opportunity evaluation, and address product and technical questions by supplying necessary documentation and technical guidance. Present product demo and conduct session with the client’s engineers and technicians.
- Troubleshoot product technical issues and provide solutions at scale to ensure product stability, and to enable Online Partnerships Group (OPG) Business and Operations teams to solve client’s issues efficiently.
- Improve our product offerings by providing partner feedback to internal cross-functional teams including Product Management and Engineering.
