Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 11 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
- Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
- Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
- Ability to communicate in English and Korean fluently to collaborate with colleagues and complete tasks and projects.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or other advanced degree.
- 2 years of experience managing people or teams.
- Experience managing partners, including C-level stakeholders, in Korea.
- Knowledge or equivalent expertise in online video, with capability to envision and articulate creator ecosystem.
- Ability to identify potential business opportunities, assess financial/business benefit, structure agreements, and discuss terms with strategic partners.
- Ability to seed, rally, and execute new ideas and impact independently amidst complex and dynamic environments involving numerous teams and competing priorities.

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.
As the Head of YouTube Scaled Partnerships, you will be in a leadership position focused on fostering the success of the content creators ecosystem in Korea. You will lead a team of Scale partner managers, providing guidance and support to ensure they effectively cultivate relationships with a portfolio of creators, providing insights, resources, and strategic plans to help them grow on the platform. You will utilize communication and collaboration, requiring you to work closely with the team and cross-functional teams to address partner needs and country business growth and ensure smooth operations.
A key aspect of the role is data analysis, using metrics to identify trends and issues that inform the development and implementation of country-specific strategies. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the team achieves its objectives and key results (OKRs), which includes driving growth within the team and the broader creator ecosystem in Korea. The role also involves representing YouTube at workshops and industry events, showcasing the platform's commitment to supporting creators.

Responsibilities
- Manage the Scale partnership team, including leading, coaching, and managing a high-performing team of T1 partner managers. Oversee daily operations and cultivate relationships with partners.
- Analyze and track key metrics. Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities, and troubleshoot issues.
- Work cross-functionally to develop country strategies. Collaborate with YouTube Korea cross-functional lead teams to develop and execute country strategies, and to drive various partnership initiatives via collaboration with regional and global teams.
- Implement projects and initiatives. Develop and deliver best practices, solutions, and recommendations to YouTube creators.
- Ensure the team's success in meeting OKRs and career development. Ensure the team achieves its objectives and key results, including fostering growth within the team.
