As Industry Head of Retail at Google UKI, you’ll be part of the leadership team for a sector that represents the UK’s GDP. Retail isn’t just part of the economy, it’s the pulse of it. And leading this portfolio at Google means helping the UK’s most influential brands and retailers grow, compete, and transform in the AI era.

This is a critical leadership role within Google’s UK Large Customer Sales division. In this role, you will lead Google’s partnerships with the UK’s largest, most sophisticated retailers and brands. Many operate across markets and continents, and in this role you will navigate both the detail and the bigger picture. You will help clients make sense of it all — and use it to grow.

Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are strategic partners and industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how Google can support growth. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of industry managers, setting the direction and raising the bar.
  • Own relationships with the UK’s largest retail brands, including global accounts with C-suite engagement.
  • Advocate for AI-powered solutions across Google ecosystem, including Search and YouTube.
  • Lead forecasting, business reviews, and commercial rhythm — driving performance and visibility across the organization.
  • Work closely with Cloud, Commerce, Measurement, and Product teams to bring integrated solutions to life.
