  • 12 years of experience in advertising sales, digital marketing, consulting, or media.
  • 6 years of experience in people management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience presenting to and collaborating with C-suite executives, ideally within the retail industry.
  • Experience in managing and developing high-performance sales teams.
  • Experience in brand marketing and measurement.
  • Understanding of insights, and knowledge of Google Ad Solutions, video advertising, and the competitor landscape across media advertising, with a focus on commercial results.

In this role, you will lead a high-performing sales team, fostering talent development and managing client relationships both collaboratively and independently. You will lead difficult pitches, and initiate high-level strategic conversations. You will drive a dynamic sales team towards significant business growth and enhanced product uptake, prioritizing client and partner contentment.

You will play a crucial role in the local Sales leadership team and community, bringing and building a growth mindset, influencing and implementing growth strategies. Develop and strengthen C-level connections with brand advertisers and their agencies, leading the way in creative ideas within the advertising industry. You will coach your team to set high ambition account plans and execute strategies, helping and inspiring clients to achieve their objectives and to be successful in a world of on-demand viewership and Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions using Google's products and services.
Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are strategic partners and industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how Google can support growth. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of Account Executives, set and communicate team priorities, make decisions and support activities that align with Google’s values.
  • Develop business plan for the Expedia YouTube global investment, focus on growth, customer partnerships and sales strategies, as well as support international stakeholders on building the business plan for Expedia's wider Google investment (including of Search, Hotel Ads, Apps, Display, etc.).
  • Build and manage relationships with C-level clients and executive partner stakeholders, by developing a comprehensive understanding of their business challenges, marketing objectives, and success metrics.  
  • Structure a clear, long-term joint strategy between Google and Expedia, and lead a cross-functional team within Google to collaborate on projects and drive client success.  
  • Plan for, and achieve, growth goals, through the presentation of Google advertising products/solutions that will help Expedia to meet their marketing objectives.
