Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in a project/program management, consulting, or client facing role.
- 3 years of experience reviewing agreement in a technical environment.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's in MBA, MS, JD or other advanced degree.
- 2 years of experience working with internet products and technologies.
- Experience drafting, negotiating and approving agreements.
- Experience in structured problem-solving operations.
- Excellent leadership, management and collaboration skills in a cross-functional team environment.
About the job
As a Technical Deal Consultant, you will be one of the technical representatives from the Google Technical Services team (aka: gTech), working closely with Product, Legal, and Business Development teams. You will have a solid insight into internet technology and a grasp of its impact on our agreements in order to adequately advise the wider deal team. Detail focused and conscientious, you’re equally comfortable reading the fine print of technical contracts as you are driving a team toward a common goal working to meet urgent deadlines to help Google realize critical business agreements while managing overall technical risk.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$196,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Coordinate and facilitate between internal teams to gain feedback and insight into agreement and initiatives.
- Advise business development and technology management teams, as well as legal teams, on risks around technical solutions and service level commitments.
- Work with stakeholders to create, draft, and communicate implementation standards and associated agreement language to facilitate smoother operations and improve decision making.
- Review and approve technical agreement terms.
