As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. The mission of the Machine Learning Developer Advocacy team is to build easy developer journeys across the AI developer product suite with a well organized and helpful developer experience. Our team works across Google to ensure a consistent narrative for products such as Google AI Studio and the Gemini API, Gemma open models, Imagen, Veo, Google Colaboratory, Kaggle, Frameowrks and ODML.

In this role, you will be the interface between Google and our developer community, managing large-scale programs, working with product and engineering to bring cutting edge AI techniques to developers. This is a fast moving and high impact space.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $139,000-$207,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of program managers focused on Developer Relations (DevRel) go-to-market strategy, community outreach, events and social strategy.
  • Create, oversee and manage the DevRel roadmap, including feedback programs, events, outreach, engagement and Open Source (OSS) programs.
  • Motivate community growth, adoption and user retention for ML developer products, including Google AI Studio, Gemini APIs, Gemma Open Models, Open Source (OSS) Frameworks, Kaggle and Colaboratory.
  • Partner with product, engineering, marketing and social teams to ship new models and features.
  • Bring developer feedback to product and engineering teams, advocate for the needs of users.
