Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Design (e.g., interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), HCI, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience in product design or UX.
- Experience working in a UX team and a product design environment in close collaboration with design, research, product management and engineering as part of the product development process.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in product design or UX.
- Understanding of the user experience and implementation.

As an Interaction Designer, you’ll rely on user-centered design methods to craft industry-leading user experiences—from concept to execution. Like all of our UX jobs, you’ll collaborate with your design partners to leverage and evolve the Google design language to build beautiful, innovative, inspired products that people love to use.
Responsibilities
- Develop user journeys, mockups, prototypes, storyboards, and presentations to effectively communicate design ideas.
- Work with User Experience Researcher/Engineer/Product Manager to strategize and design safe user centric journeys that deliver delight and value to users.
- Iterate on designs based on feedback from users and stakeholders.
- Work with the engineering team to ensure designs are implemented to specification and collaborate with them to come up with creative design solutions when technical issues arise.
