Supplier Quality Engineer, Power Engineering

Remote location: Thailand.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in power technology and manufacturing process.
  • Experience in quality tools or quality management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or power related equivalent practical experience.
  • Certification in quality (e.g., CQE, CQM, CRE, CQA, 6 Sigma).
  • 7 years of experience in quality, reliability, or supplier quality management.
  • Understanding of power supply technology.
  • Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Apply Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) fundamentals and collaborate with teams to help them understand and apply RCCA tools and principles and analyze/understand failure to resolve issues.
  • Define and execute data collection activities for high complexity technical issues.
  • Drive process design, optimization, and qualification activities of a manufacturing process for a component, part, or product.
